Episode 12b - Evan V. again!

Tuesday Jul 17, 2012

Tuesday Jul 17, 2012

Twelve bee! It took a while to get a new mic but I finally got one and now the show is back. And in the interest of fairness, Evan is back! It was a fun chat and after a very long pre-interview segment where we just shoot the shit, we get to the three questions:
Childhood: We talk about The Simpsons. For a while! Because we both loved The Simpsons. Because they were awesome. If you loved The Simpsons, you'll enjoy two bitter old fans gushing over the show. If you hated The Simpsons then you're the worst.
Adolescence: We learned to drive and we had bad jobs.
Adulthood: After living in the DC area for all his life, we talk about Evan's big move.
WRA: Ancient Future (Note: the song we listen to doesn't play on the podcast. If you want to listen to it, please don't.)
If...: 124, 3
Dudes I can't stress this enough: GO TO EVAN'S SHOW. It's gonna be an amazing time. Here is the Facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/events/349164711826357/

Episode 12 - Evan V.!

Tuesday Jan 24, 2012

Tuesday Jan 24, 2012

Twelve!  Look, I'm not gonna lie to you. I never bring you very high quality recordings, but something went unfortunately wrong and it sounds like we recorded this in a car with very sensitive equipment and there's a weird buzzing throughout. I tried to fix it but to no avail. I apologize profusely, especially since this episode with writer Evan is really really fun. I would not lie to you! Here, take a gander:
Childhood: Money!  Being raised well off but being not well off in comparison to other rich kids.
Adolescence: Height!  The fight, the teasing, the building yourself up from a tall gangly dude to a tall buff dude, and a religious scare.
Adulthood: Writing!  You write what you love, you know? And what he loves is big ideas, musicals, and Norse gods.
WRA: Dehydroalanine
If...: 64, 1
Follow him on Twitter! And since the sound was so bad I'll try to get Evan back soon because, if you could hear through the buzzing, he was very interesting!

Adulthood: Hair!  Balding or being bald, going bald with dignity, and the new coolness that is a hairless man.
